We’re officially into the final stretch. Public voting for the Yorkshire Choice Awards 2026 closes on 1st March 2026, and with around two weeks left, now’s the moment to back the people and organisations making Yorkshire proud.
This isn’t just an awards vote. It’s a chance to shine a light on the people, charities, organisations and businesses who quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) keep communities going, lift others up, and make everyday life better across the county.

You can see who’s nominated on the voting page
If you’re wondering who’s on the list, you don’t need to hunt around. The nominees are all there on the official voting link: www.yorkshirechoiceawards.co.uk/vote
Why your vote really matters
A vote is a simple thing, but it carries real weight, because it:
Recognises local impact. Whether it’s a charity supporting families, a business employing local people, or an individual going above and beyond, your vote is a public “we see you”.
Raises visibility. Even a nomination can help someone attract support, volunteers, customers, funding, or partnerships.
Builds pride in your area. When your town, village, or city is represented, it’s a reminder that brilliant things are happening right on your doorstep.
Keeps it genuinely Yorkshire-led. Public voting means the outcome reflects the communities these nominees serve.

Nominees from North, South, East and West Yorkshire
This year’s nominees span North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and West Yorkshire, so chances are there’ll be a name, group, charity or business you recognise - or one that’s made a difference close to home. Have a look through the categories and you might be surprised who pops up.
Want to join the celebrations? Early Bird Tickets are still available
