Nominations are now open for the 2027 Yorkshire Choice Awards, and we’re inviting people across the county to help us celebrate the individuals, charities, organisations and businesses that make Yorkshire such an extraordinary place to live and work.
Now entering our 11th year, the Yorkshire Choice Awards have spent more than a decade shining a light on remarkable people and groups from every corner of the region. From community champions and inspirational young people to outstanding charities, dedicated volunteers, brilliant businesses and those who have shown incredible courage, the awards recognise the stories that deserve to be heard.
Every year, we are reminded that Yorkshire is full of people doing brilliant things, often without expecting recognition or reward. They are the neighbours who quietly support those around them, the fundraisers who refuse to give up, the charities working tirelessly to improve lives, the businesses creating opportunities and the individuals who turn difficult circumstances into something positive.
They may not call themselves extraordinary, but we know better.
That is where you come in.
Perhaps you know someone who has gone above and beyond for their community. Maybe a local charity has provided vital support, raised awareness or transformed lives. Perhaps a business has made a real difference to its customers, employees or neighbourhood. You might know a young person who has shown remarkable determination, or an organisation whose work deserves wider recognition.
