The Yorkshire Choice Awards are delighted to welcome back host Christ Ackroyd, a well known journalist and TV presenter for 2017.
Christa has been a journalist in Yorkshire for more than three decades, the last two as anchor on both Calendar and Look North. Having covered everything from the Yorkshire Ripper to the Hillsborough tragedy, Christa is now using her years of experience to help promote others, in her home county of Yorkshire.
Melanie Malcolm, co-founder of The Yorkshire Choice Awards said 'Christa was a fundamental part of our Awards last year and gave a sterling performance to not only introduce our winners but keep our guests entertained throughout the evening. We are honoured to have her back for a second year'.
