Yorkshire’s first shopping centre to be built undercover, The Ridings Shopping Centre has been positioned at the heart of Wakefield for over 30 years and houses a unique mix of retailers, from quality independents like award-winning Created in Yorkshire, to key anchor stores including M&S, Boots, TK Maxx and the recently refurbished Primark.
The centre welcomes over 10m shoppers every year and has plans for a multi-million-pound investment which is scheduled to commence in autumn 2016. This exciting development will see the creation of a new food and beverage area, a kids’ play zone, a quality indoor market and food hall, plus a new events space and customer service lounge – all complemented by a full refurbishment.
