On Tuesday evening, we were invited into the daily life of Rob Burrow and his wonderful family with this incredible BBC2 documentary.
It was an emotional documentary showcasing just how MND affects not just those diagnosed, but all the families too in a film about love, support and determination. The true reality of living with motor neurone disease.
Rob’s story has helped raise awareness of MND and why more needs doing to help people living with the condition and their families.
The Yorkshire Choice Awards were delighted to have played a small part in helping him raise awareness and money for this well deserved charity. Honouring Rob and as shown in the story, his children will be something we will hold close to our hearts.
